1.Gopi won the Asian Marathon Championship title

Gopi Thonakal has created history as the first Indian to win the Asian Marathon Championship. He achieved this feat in the 16th edition of the prestigious event in Dongguan, China.

He won the gold medal 2 hours 15 minutes 48 seconds clock. Andrey Petrov of Uzbekistan and Mongolia’s Byambalev Tseveenravdan won silver and bronze medal respectively.

2.China Remote Sensing Satellite successfully launched

China successfully launched remote sensing satellites for conducting electromagnetic probes and other applications.

Satellites were opened on the Long March 2C rocket board from the Zichong Satellite Launch Center in southeastern Sichuan province.

3.The 12th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Inter State Council was held

Union Home Minister Sri Rajnath Singh presided over the 12th meeting of the Standing Committee on Inter-state Council (ISC) in New Delhi.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the recommendations of the punchhi Commission on Center-State Relations.

4.The Ministry of Health has won a bronze medal in the 2017 India International Trade Fair

The 37th India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in 2017 was awarded Bronze Medal for Health and Family Welfare for its creative and informative performance.

The State Minister (Commercial and Industry) Mr. Shri.C R Chaudhary presented.

5.Justice Satrughana Pujahari was sworn in as Madras High Court judge

Justice Shatrughan Pujari was sworn in as Judge of Madras High Court by Chief Justice Indira Banerjee.

Judge Shatrughan Prajari has been transferred from the High Court of Orissa to Madras High Court.

6.The President of India started the International Ambedkar Conclave

The President of India, Sri Ram Nath Kovind, started the International Ambedkar Conclave, organized by the SC and ST Legislators and Parliamentary Forum in New Delhi.

Dr. Ambedkar’s constitutional architect has a strong plan for our democracy.

7.World’s First artificial intelligence(AI) Politician Developed

The world’s first artificial intelligence politicians have developed scientists who answer a person’s questions about local issues, such as housing, education and policies such as immigration.
ii. Nick Gerritsen, a fictional political leader known as SAM, was created by a businessman in New Zealand, 49. AI politician is constantly learning to respond to the public through a survey on Facebook Messenger and its homepage.

8.Global University Empowerability Ranking 2017-IISc World’s 29th Ranked

The Global University Job Rating Ranking published by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Times Higher Education is ranked 29th in 150 universities in 2017.
ii. Apart from IISc, only two companies from India are in the top 150. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) is ranked 145th and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) ranked 148th.

9.The Golden Temple is the world’s most visited place

The ‘World Book of Records’ (WBR) has been awarded a Golden Temple by the London-based organization ‘the most visited place in the world’.
ii. WBR India chapter General Secretary Surbi Kaul and WBR Punjab chapter president Randeep Singh Kohli have been awarded the Chief Executive Officer of Shriomani Gurdwara Pharbandhak Committee (SGPC) Chief Secretary Roop Singh and other senior officials at Teja Singh Samundari Hall in Amritsar.
