1.Syrian Boy Wins Children’s Peace Prize
Sixteen-year-old Mohamad Al Jounde from Syria received international children’s peace prizes for his efforts to diagnose the rights of Syrian refugees. Al Jounde, a refugee of the Syrian Civil War, has set up a school for his family in Lebanese Refugee Camp, which currently provides education with about 200 children. Al Jounde received a prize from Malala Yousafzai, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 for the rights of children.
2.The MP Assembly passed the Death Bill Award for raping girls aged 12 years or less
The Madhya Pradesh Assembly unanimously awarded the death penalty for those who were raped by girls aged under 12 years or under. With this, Madhya Pradesh becomes the first State where those convicted of such rapes will face the gallows. Bill, introduced by Law Minister and Legislative Affairs Minister Rampal Singh, has been approved by all parties. According to the latest National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report, the highest number of rape cases were reported in Madhya Pradesh.
3.sixth International Tourism Mart to Begin in Guwahati
The 6th International Tourism Mart 2017 in Assam Guwahati begins. The mart has been conducted from 5-7 December 2017 in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and the Northeast. Assam Governor Shri Jagdish Mukhi initiated the 6th International Tourism Mart (ITM) -2017. It is India’s “Act East Policy”, ASEAN and the Middle East Asia, developing relationships, economies and emerging tourism markets of India.
4.10th Jaipur International Film Festival
The 10th Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) is ready to present international cinemas for all film fans. This festival has become a great favorite of both cinegoers and filmmakers. The second and last list of the selected festivals includes 48 films from 13 countries.

5.The International Solar Alliance is now a legal organization
In November 2017, Guinea became the 15th country and its the International Solar Alliance (ISA) became a contract-based international intergovernmental organization under the Framework Agreement. International Solar Alliance is an international initiative of India. It aims to promote solar power in member countries. The ISA was jointly launched by the PM Narendra Modi and the president of France in November 2015 in Paris, on the sidelines of COP-21, the UN climate conference. Till date, 46 countries signed and 19 countries accepted the framework agreement of the ISA. From January 2016, the ISA Temporary Secretariat operates as a real-time company.
